Researcher. Storyteller. Bridge Builder.

Before I ever had a title or portfolio, I was just a curious kid asking questions no one seemed ready to answer.

Not in a nerdy-trivia-at-dinner-party way (though, guilty), but wanting to understand the why beneath the what, the systems behind the stories, and the lived experiences hidden beneath the headlines.

I grew up only to then be plagued by the mysteries of family history: half-told stories, old photos, long silences. My grandfather didn’t talk much about his past, and that absence stayed with me. It taught me to listen differently. To notice the pauses. To ask better questions.

Growing up, I was fascinated by family history’s mysteries: half-told stories, old photos, and long silences. My grandfather didn’t talk much about his past, and that absence stuck with me. It shaped how I listen and research today. It taught me to pay attention to what’s unsaid and to ask better, more insightful questions.

That curiosity shaped the work I do now.

These days, I specialize in historical and cultural research, narrative development, and story consulting for film, TV, podcasts, essays, and public media. I work with creative folks, producers, and mission-driven organizations to create stories that are layered, honest, and grounded in real experience.

I’ve had the opportunity to work across several sectors from entertainment and nonprofit to architecture and health, always centering stories that reflect identity, lived experiences, and the larger systems at play.

I bring to the table a mix of deep research and editorial clarity, helping filmmakers, podcasters, writers, and storytellers craft meaningful stories that feel authentic and hit home. My sweet spot is where history meets emotion. I enjoy spotting patterns across time, finding the missing pieces, and bringing cultural nuance to every project, especially when stories feel personal and high-stakes.

No matter the project, whether it’s researching for a docuseries, shaping a podcast narrative, consulting on script development, or building a story from scratch, I always ask:

  • Who is this for?

  • What is it in conversation with?

  • Who’s missing from the frame—and why?

Selected career highlights:

Creator & Producer of The Persistence (Podcast on women of color in social justice movements)

Narrative Researcher on Independent Projects in Development, shaping story worlds with deep historical and cultural context

Story & Cultural Consultant on Film, Podcast, and Digital Projects, offering insight on race, identity, and lived experience

Script Evaluator for National Lampoon’s Girlz Rule Contest, uplifting underrepresented writers

Lead Organizer & Speaker Coach at TEDxSanAntonio, curating community-driven storytelling on stage

Programming Volunteer with Overlook Film Festival and BexarFest Judge (Youth Media)

Communications & digital storytelling work with Overland Partners, InGenesis, and Apple

I’m based in San Antonio, Texas and work with teams and organizations across the U.S. and Mexico who are ready to tell deeper, more honest stories.
